Dr Elsa Zhu is a restorative dentist at Brisbane Dental Implants in Bulimba. She holds a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland.
Her role includes assessment and preparatory restorative care before implant surgery, followed by the design and fitting of implant crowns and bridges. She works with the surgical team on the treatment plan.
Elsa collaborates with the on-site dental laboratory on custom zirconia crowns and multi-unit implant bridges, including their shape, shade and bite contacts.

During the restorative stage, she works with the laboratory on the crown or bridge and checks its fit and bite. The choice of restoration depends on the implant arrangement, available space and individual treatment needs.
Working with the surgical team
Dr Virginia Han or Dr Sae Mi Bok provides implant placement. Elsa’s work focuses on the restoration supported by those implants.
