He works closely with our implant surgeons to provide advanced hygiene care that is critical for preventing peri-implantitis and ensuring your dental implants remain healthy and stable.
Clinical Philosophy & Periodontal Excellence
Mr Dennis Han operates under a structured, supportive periodontal clinical philosophy. He emphasizes that while dental implants cannot decay like natural teeth, the surrounding supportive gum and bone structures remain highly vulnerable to plaque-induced bacterial infection. This condition—known as peri-implant mucositis in its early stages and peri-implantitis once bone loss occurs—is the leading cause of implant failure worldwide.
Dennis leverages advanced clinical therapies, high-resolution diagnostic mapping, and detailed periodontal charting to monitor the health of the supportive tissue seal around every implant. His meticulous approach ensures early intervention for any localized inflammation, protecting the implant site from bone recession.
Patient Empowerment & AHPRA Standards
Dennis strongly believes that successful long-term implant maintenance relies heavily on patient empowerment and tailored home care. He spends dedicated clinical time educating patients on advanced daily hygiene techniques, utilizing custom interdental brushes, water flossers, and specialized implant-safe cleaning tools to maintain healthy tissue seals.
Working in close coordination with our lead implant surgeons, Dennis ensures all supportive therapies align with the rigorous patient safety benchmarks established by AHPRA and the Dental Board of Australia. He remains active in ongoing professional development within the periodontal community to ensure patients receive the most advanced, evidence-based supportive hygiene care.
